Haihua Cultural and Educational Foundation – 11th Volunteer Teaching Team Recruitment Announcement
Subject: To support the Chinese language teaching needs of overseas Chinese schools or Chinese language educational institutions, we are publicly recruiting young individuals with expertise in Chinese language and education, as well as proficiency in foreign languages, cultural skills, and a passion for teaching. Selected volunteers will undergo professional training to become Chinese language teachers. After training, they will be matched with overseas Chinese schools or Chinese language institutions to serve as short-term Chinese language teaching volunteers. This initiative aims to promote professional Chinese language teacher training and overseas volunteer teaching, while providing teaching opportunities abroad and expanding international perspectives.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled students or graduates from Chinese language-related departments or programs in universities across Taiwan. Applicants should be in good physical and mental health, have a passion for service, strong foreign language skills, proficiency in computer-assisted teaching, cultural skills, independence, and a sense of responsibility. They should be capable of managing both teaching and daily life abroad.
This year, we also welcome overseas Chinese students currently studying at Taiwan's universities to apply. (Preference will be given to those with relevant volunteer experience and those whose skills match the needs of the partnering overseas Chinese schools. After approval, a subsidized flight ticket will be provided for those placed back in their country of origin for teaching and internship).
A total of 30 volunteer positions will be offered. Selection will be based on a written review and an interview process.
