2026 Spring Semester NTUT Overseas Chinese Student Scholarship Application (Application Period: March 16–27, 2026)

Please read the eligibility criteria and application procedures carefully before submitting your documents.

 

【Eligibility】

Applicants must meet at least ONE of the following conditions:

  1. Undergraduate or graduate students who have completed at least one semester at NTUT, ranked within the top 75% of their department in the previous semester, with a conduct score of 80 or above, and no disciplinary record of admonition or above.

  2. Master’s or doctoral students who are currently writing their thesis and do not have grades for the previous semester must submit:

    • A recommendation letter from the academic advisor, and

    • A thesis proposal (at least 5,000 words, excluding references), including research motivation, objectives, research design, data sources, and chapter outline.

  3. Students serving as club leaders may apply using their club activity achievement report.
    (This option may be used only once during the entire study period.)

  4. Applicants must have:

    • Completed the NTUT Online Health & Well-being Questionnaire before enrollment, and

    • Completed the freshman health check and adjustment survey after enrollment.

  5. Applicants must participate in at least one OIA Overseas Student Safety Seminar per year and pass the online quiz.

  6. Certificate of Participation – Overseas Student Safety Seminar

    (Submit a certificate obtained in 2025 / Academic Year 114. If you do not have one, please contact Mr. Ian Wang.)

  7. Optional supporting documents, such as:

    • Evidence of extracurricular leadership

    • Awards from competitions

    • Participation certificates from events or volunteer work

March 16, 2026 (Mon) 12:00 PM – March 27, 2026 (Fri) 12:00 PM
● All applications must be completed online only.
● Late submissions will not be accepted.
No paper submission is required at the OIA Office.

【Important Notes】

  • The review results and award amount will be determined by the Scholarship Review Committee.
    The award amount will not be known at the time of application.

  • Results will be announced in mid-May on the OIA website.

  • Award details and disbursement instructions will be notified after the results are announced.
