This scholarship supports outstanding international undergraduate students (non-Overseas Compatriot Students) from the 2nd to 4th year. It applies to students enrolled starting from the 2024 Fall semester.

1. Eligibility (All conditions must be met)
- International undergraduate students enrolled at Taipei Tech as full-time students, having completed at least one academic year (5th year or above not eligible).
- Must not receive scholarships from Taiwan government agencies or Taipei Tech (unless the scholarship only covers tuition waivers).
- Rank within the top 60% of the department based on the previous semester’s GPA (revised Sep 30, 2025), conduct score ≥ 80, and no disciplinary actions beyond admonition.
- Completed:
- Online health questionnaire
- Health checkup after enrollment
- Certificate of participation for the latest Overseas Students Safety & Security Seminar
- Not engaged in full-time paid employment in Taiwan.
2. Award Details
1) Full Scholarship
- Monthly stipend: NT$15,000.
- Approved per semester (up to 6 months each time).
2) Half Scholarship
- Monthly stipend: NT$8,000.
- Approved per semester (up to 6 months each time).
3. Scholarship Quota
- Total of 26 recipients per academic year:
- Full Scholarship: 6 recipients
- Half Scholarship: 20 recipients
- If no applicants meet the criteria, the award remains vacant without alternates.
4. Awarding Period
- Approved semesterly.
- Up to 6 months each time.
- Stipend disbursed monthly.
5. Application Procedure
Students must apply before the deadline announced at the end of each semester.
- Application Form (must include advisor’s signature & recommendation).
- Official English Academic Transcript (print within 3 days before application period).
- Record of disciplinary actions / awards (printed from red machine).
- Department Ranking Certificate (printed within 3 days before application).
- Safety Seminar Certificate (latest seminar).
- Special Achievement Documents:
- Merge all documents into one PDF with “List of Supporting Documents” at page 1.
- Documents must be obtained after enrollment at NTUT.
- Must NOT reuse documents from high school or Presidential Award application.
- Provide translations if not in Chinese or English.
- Copy of ARC.
- Copy of bank account passbook.
*Red machines are located at the 2nd floor of the Administration Building and the Joint Service Center.

Students can receive this scholarship and the NTUT Chinese-Proficient Scholarship (Hua Yu Scholarship) at the same time.
