【Forward】Ministry of Education: Prevention of Digital/Gender Violence Avoid victimization, refuse to harm others

Prevention of Digital/Gender Violence Avoid victimization, refuse to harm others

5 Don'ts:

Do not violate consent - Do not coerce others into taking or sending images

Do not succumb to selfies - Do not succumb to enticing requests to take self-images

Do not rush messaging - Confirm messages and images multiple times before sending

Do not forward private photos - It is illegal to forward received intimate photos

Do not mock victims - Mocking or criticizing victims is more harmful

4 Dos:

Inform teachers - Teachers can provide more assistance than dealing with it alone

Take screenshots for evidence - Clear evidence helps bring perpetrators to justice

Remember to report to the police - Reporting not just for yourself but to prevent further harm to innocents

Report the other party - Even if it's a fake account, let administrators handle it according to the rules

Please remember, no matter what happens, bravely speaking up is the first step to solving the problem, while seeking help from multiple channels.
