Scholarship upon re-enrollment: Fill out the reactivation intention form before the deadline — Form link. OIA will contact you by email to confirm scholarship eligibility. 復學獎學金：請於截止日前填妥復學獎學金申請意願表單（表單連結），國際處將以 Email 聯繫確認獎學金資格。
September readmission: Please complete the form by July 15. 9月復學：請於7/15之前填寫表單
February readmission: Please complete the form by January 15. 2月復學：請於1/15之前填寫表單

When ready to return: contact OIA at intstudy@ntut.edu.tw proactively, return the intention survey card to OAA, and follow the standard re-enrollment process 欲復學時：請主動聯絡國際處 intstudy@ntut.edu.tw，並將休學意向回條回傳教務處，後續按一般復學程序辦理
Scholarship note: For recipients of International Graduate Student Scholarship, the start date of your monthly stipend will be deferred to match your actual enrollment date; the total scholarship duration remains unchanged. 獎學金說明：本校優秀國際研究生獎學金受獎生，每月生活津貼起算時間將順延至實際入學日期，獎學金總期限不受影響。
重要注意事項 / Important notes
Current students — timing of application 在學學生 — 申請時間與費用 If you apply before the semester registration deadline, no tuition payment is required for the new semester. If you apply after the semester starts, you must pay tuition first; the school will refund proportionally based on timing. Mid-semester applications must be submitted and approved before final exams — course records (including grades) for that semester will be deleted. 開學日前完成申請者免繳新學期學雜費。開學日後辦理者須先繳交 新學期學雜費，學校將按比例退費。學期中申請者須於期末考前提出；該學期修課紀錄（含成績）予以刪除。
Scholarship — suspension of stipend 獎學金 — 生活津貼停發 If you receive a Taipei Tech scholarship (e.g. the International Graduate Scholarship monthly living stipend), your stipend will be suspended from the month after your leave or withdrawal is approved. 如休退學前有領取北科大獎學金（例如國際研究生獎學金每月生活津貼），完成離校手續後，每月生活津貼將自核准隔月起停發。
ARC & NHI — international students 居留證（ARC）及健保（NHI）— 國際學生注意 Once you complete leave or withdrawal procedures, your ARC will be cancelled if your purpose of residence is studying at Taipei Tech. NHI coverage will also be transferred out. The International Affairs Office will not issue a separate notice regarding ARC cancellation. You must depart Taiwan within 10 days of receiving the NIA cancellation notice, or you may be fined. 完成離校手續後，以「就學」為由取得的居留證將被廢止，健保亦隨之轉出。國際處不另行通知居留證撤銷事宜，請務必提前自行安排。收到移民署廢止處分書後須於 10 日內離境，逾期將受罰。

How do I apply? What documents do I need? (Undergrad vs. graduate) 休學如何辦理？需要哪些文件？（大學部 / 研究所）
+Undergraduate: Collect the leave application form (C6), advisor interview record, military officer interview record, and counseling checklist (C7) from OAA. Complete interviews with your advisor, military officer, and department chair. Submit all forms with your student ID at the Registration Section. Minors must attach a parental consent letter (A4 paper, any format). 大學部：至教務處領取 C6 休學申請單、導師晤談紀錄表、教官晤談紀錄表及 C7 輔導作業檢核表，與導師、教官及系主任晤談後，連同學生證至教務處辦理。未成年學生須另附家長同意書（A4 白紙，格式不拘）。 Graduate students: Collect C6, thesis supervisor interview record, and C7. Complete interviews with your thesis supervisor and department chair, then submit with your student ID. 研究所：領取 C6、指導教授晤談紀錄表及 C7，與指導教授及系主任晤談後，連同學生證辦理。

How long can I take leave, and can I extend it? 一次可以休學多久？可以續休嗎？
+Leave is applied per semester. You may apply for one semester or one academic year at a time, and may reapply when the leave expires. The cumulative maximum is 2 academic years. Undergraduate minors must obtain parental or guardian consent. To extend your leave, reply to the OAA slip attached to your approval notice and contact the Registration Section. 申請以學期為單位，可一次申請 1 學期或 1 學年；期滿得再申請，累計以 2 學年為原則。大學部未成年學生須經家長或監護人同意。如欲繼續延長休學，請回覆教務處休學核定書上的回條並聯繫教務處。

Can I get a tuition refund if I take leave mid-semester? 學期中辦理休學，可否申請退費？
+Yes. When submitting your leave application, also provide your tuition receipt and a copy of your bank passbook cover. The school will refund proportionally based on timing, following the university's official refund schedule for day-division undergraduate students. 可以。辦理時請同時繳交學雜費收據及存摺封面影本。學校將按比例和狀況退費，退費標準請參閱「國立臺北科技大學日間部大學部學生休退學學雜費收（退）費方式」。

What happens to my scholarship when I take leave or withdraw? 休退學後獎學金如何處理？
+Your monthly stipend is suspended from the month after your leave or withdrawal is approved. For newly enrolled students deferring enrollment, the start date of the stipend is deferred; the total duration is not reduced. Upon re-enrollment, submit the scholarship reactivation form before the deadline — OIA will contact you by email to confirm eligibility. 每月生活津貼自核准休退學次月起停發。新生延後入學者，津貼起算時間順延，獎學金總期限不受影響。復學後請於截止日前填妥復學獎學金申請意願表單，國際處將以 Email 確認獎學金資格。

What if I receive a military conscription notice during my leave? 休學期間收到徵集令應如何處理？
+If you are called for military service during your leave and have not completed service by your expected return date, apply for an extension of leave with a proof of active duty document. After discharge, submit the discharge order to the Registration Section to apply for re-enrollment. 休學期間如應徵入伍，且應復學學期仍在服役中，請檢具「在營服役證明」申請延長休學期限；服役期滿後持退伍令至教務處申請復學。

When must I cancel my ARC after taking leave or withdrawing? What is the departure deadline? 休退學後何時須撤銷居留證？幾日內須離境？
+The school notifies the Bureau of Consular Affairs and NIA. The NIA cancels your ARC and issues a written notice. You are requested to return your ARC to the NIA service station. You must depart within 10 days of receiving the NIA cancellation notice — late departure may result in a fine. 學校將通報外交部領事事務局及移民署，移民署廢止居留證並發處分書，請持居留證至移民署各服務站繳回。收到處分書後須於 10 日內離境，逾期將受罰。 Hong Kong / Macao students remaining in Taiwan: NIA will contact you to return your ARC and apply for a one-time exit permit (5 working days). Depart within 10 days of permit approval. 港澳學生仍在臺者：移民署將通知繳回居留證並辦理單次出境證（需 5 個工作天），自核准日起 10 日內離境，逾期受罰。

Overseas compatriot students (僑生) — departure and work restrictions during leave 僑生休學出境後如何再入境？休學期間可否工作？
+Overseas compatriot students who entered on a foreign passport and take leave must depart Taiwan and re-apply for a resident visa before re-entering. Working in Taiwan during the leave period is not permitted. 持外國護照入境之僑生辦理休學出境後，須重新辦理居留簽證始可再入境。休學期間不可在臺工作。

How do I re-enroll after my leave expires? 休學期滿如何辦理復學？
+Before your leave expires, check "re-enrollment" on the intention survey card attached to your approval notice and mail it back with a stamped return envelope. OAA will send registration instructions. Register for courses online, pay tuition, and bring your student ID to OAA to extend its validity — re-enrollment is then complete. International students must re-apply for a visa before returning to Taiwan. 請於休學期滿前，在核准通知書所附意向調查回條勾選「復學」，連同貼妥郵資之回郵信封寄回教務處，教務處將寄送註冊須知。上網選課並繳學費後，持學生證至教務處過卡展延效期，即完成復學手續。境外生須重新申請簽證方可入境返臺就讀。
