Chinese&Taiwanese Singing Competition for the International Students in University System of Taipei

1. Purpose : In order to enhance the skills of Chinese communicationforinternational students and to encourage the localstudents learning with international studentstogether, the Office of International Affairs in National Taipei Universityspecially takes placethis event to create an internationallearning environment.
2. Organizer : Office of International Affairs, National Taipei University.
3. Co-organizers:National Taiwan Ocean University, National Taipei University of Technology and Taipei Medical University(in alphabetical order).
4. Participants :
   1. The International students in University System of Taipei (including degree students, exchange students and visiting students). The participant can sign up inindividual or a team. If the participants sign up this competition by team, only one Taiwanese student can sing in the competition andhe or she cannot sing more than one-third of the whole song.
   2. The limits of this competition are 20 teams.Each university in University System of Taipeimay recommend up to 5 teams to join this competition. When numbers of teams are less than 20, the regulation will not be enforced.

8. The Rule :

   1. One elective song :

      ➤ Participants, whose mother language is Mandarin,can only choose "Taiwanese" song.

      ➤ Participants, whose mother language is not Mandarin, can choose"Taiwanese" or "Chinese" song, either.

   2. Extra points : Participants can choose any talent show to perform.

    1. On-siteApplication: Please fill out the application form and hand in to the Office of International Affairs,National Taipei University.
    2. (2) Application by mail: Please fill out the application form and scan itto PDF file. Please email to oia6800@gm.ntpu.edu.tw. After the organizer confirms the document, the organizer will send the participant anotificationto complete the whole registration.

11. Grade :

    Creative : 25%

    SingingPerformance : 30%

    Costume : 20%

    Pronunciation : 15%

    Stage Composure : 10%

    (Extra points : 10%)

12. Prizes :

If there are less than four teams, only one prize will be offered in the competitors.

*According to the Law of Tax in Taiwan, all awards granted are subject to a 20% income tax.
