Use the MRT Map as a Reference
The MRT is one of the most important systems in Taipei's public transit network, making the MRT map a helpful guide for choosing where to live. For example, if you want to live near an NTNU Mandarin Training Center, you could look for housing near one of the nearby stations: Guting, Taipower Building, or Dongmen.
Decide on Your Ideal Room Type and Estimate Your Budget

Lease Signing Reminder
Landlords typically require a deposit equal to two months' rent, which is refunded in full or in part when you move out, depending on the condition of the property. Since photos aren't always reliable, we recommend viewing a property in person after arriving in Taiwan before signing a long-term lease.
