1) Full tuition waiver for one school year (Excluding administrative fees, internet usage fees, accommodation, books, insurance, and other expenses). 2) Monthly stipend for 15,000NTD, with a maximum duration of one year. 2. Half Scholarship: 1) Full tuition waiver for one school year (Excluding administrative fees, internet usage fees, accommodation, books, insurance, and other expenses). 2) Monthly stipend for 8,000NTD, with a maximum duration of one year |
Eligibility (All conditions must be met) |
1. Applicants who meet the requirements in accordance with Regulations Regarding International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan. 2. Not hold overseas Chinese student status or Republic of China citizenship. 3. Does not receive scholarships or grants from government agencies in Taiwan or Taipei Tech. 4. Not engaged in full-time paid employment in the R.O.C. 5. The total average score for high school of the applicant should reach GPA 2.8 or above out of the four points scale (or 70% of the total points). |

The number of awards granted each academic year is set at 26 as a principle for the entire school. Winners are selected by the Scholarship Review Committee. 1. Full Scholarship: a total of 6 recipients. 2. Half Scholarship: a total of 20 recipients. |

Application |
Applicants may submit their applications when applying to become a full-time undergraduate degree program student at Taipei Tech in the Fall semester. Additionally, they may upload other documents demonstrating their professional abilities and special achievements that are beneficial for the review process (must be accompanied by translations in Chinese or English). **Please complete and attach the List of Supporting Documents along with the Supporting Documents (Please type clearly in Chinese or English). [DOWNLOAD] For 2024 Fall Intakes, OIA will send the online scholarship application form to officially admitted students by email. If you are on the admission list announced on June 11, please pay attention to your email (application ended). |

If an applicant simultaneously applies for the NTUT Chinese-Proficient Scholarship (Hua Yu Scholarship) and is awarded both scholarships, preference will be given to the awarding of this scholarship (the President Award). |

Eligibility (All conditions must be met) | 1. Applicants must be international undergraduate students enrolled at Taipei Tech with formal student status and must have completed at least one academic year of study (students in their fifth year or above are not eligible to apply).
2. Does not scholarships or grants from government agencies in Taiwan or Taipei Tech (if the scholarship provided by Taipei Tech is solely for tuition waivers, then this restriction does not apply). 3. Students must rank in the top 50% of their department based on the average grades of the previous semester, have a conduct score of 80 or above, and have not received disciplinary actions beyond admonition from the university. 4. Have completed the online health questionnaire, the health checkup after enrolling, and have obtained the certificate of participation (Overseas Students Safety and Security Seminar) from the latest seminar. 5. Not engaged in full-time paid employment in the R.O.C |
Scholarship Quota |

Awarding Period | The reward items are approved on a semesterly basis (up to 6 months each time), and they are disbursed monthly. |
Application | Applicants shall apply to the Office of International Affairs before the announced deadline at the end of each semester. |
Application Documents | 1. Application Form (must include the signature of the advisor as well as the recommendation)
2. Official Academic Transcript of all school years to date 3. Record of disciplinary actions and awards received over the years4. Department Ranking Certificate 5. Certificate of participation (Overseas Students Safety and Security Seminar) from the latest seminar (If unable to submit the certificate during the application period, it may be submitted to the Office of International Affairs after attending the following sessions for the current year. Failure to submit within the year will result in the revocation of the award and the recovery of any scholarship funds received.) 6. Documents for Special achievements (including international exchanges, participation in international competitions or conferences, service contributions, project involvement, relevant work/internship experience, certifications, etc.). |

The English version of Guidelines for Taipei Tech International Graduate Students Scholarship is written based on the Chinese version. In the event of any discrepancies, the Chinese version shall prevail. |

Master Students: Second year master’s students may apply for tuition fee subsidy with first year academic average 80 points or above. PhD Students: From the 2nd year onward, PhD students’ academic performance and the number of published journals (doctoral students only) in the previous year will be the criteria for scholarship renewal. * After admission result is announced, Taipei Tech will inform all accepted PhD students from Southeast and South Asia via email around July. Qualified students must send the Lecturer Certificate to Taipei Tech by the designated deadline.
