Buddy Learning &Co- Learning Program

National Taipei University of Technology Buddy Learning Pilot Program

NTUT has established the Buddy Learning Pilot Program to
support students facing learning difficulties and enhance their academic performance.
The Office of International Affairs has also developed specific regulations for
international students to aid their adjustment and provide necessary academic support. 
For inquiries, please contact the Overseas Student Advising Section, Vivien Chen at wacvoia@ntut.edu.tw.

1. Eligibility: International students currently enrolled at our university (excluding students from Mainland China)
who need academic assistance due to falling behind or having failed courses.

2. Implementation Guidelines:
(a) Tutoring is available for compulsory courses only, through one-on-one or one-to-three sessions.
(b) Each student may apply for tutoring in one course per semester, with at least 2 hours per week and 25 hours total.
(c) Sessions are held Monday to Friday in the university library or computer labs.

3. Application Procedure:
Submit the NTUT Buddy Learning Program Application Form and Affidavit, along with relevant documents,
to the Overseas Students Advising Section of the OIA during the application periods.

4. Eligibility for Tutor Applicant:

Students are required to provide academic transcripts and language proficiency certificates.

National Taipei University of Technology Overseas Students Co-Learning Community
To enhance students' self-learning abilities, foster interdisciplinary learning,
broaden cultural perspectives, and promote teamwork,

NTUT has established the "NTUT Overseas Students Co-Learning Community Pilot Program"
to support students' personal growth and integration into the campus learning environment.

1. Eligibility: Students currently enrolled at NTUT (excluding Mainland Chinese Students)
2. Application procedure: Submit a completed and signed hard copy of Attachment 1: NTUT Overseas Students Co-Learning Community Member Application Form
to Amanda Wang at hwang@ntut.edu.tw by 17:00 on October 27, 2024.
Also, email an electronic copy to the Office of International Affairs liaison.
