There is only one call per year - 1 February 2024. The minimum duration of the grant 
is 4 months, the maximum is 10 months. Therefor we need your nomination by January 15th in order to prepare the Letter of Acceptance for the Ernst Mach Grant in time.

The Austrian ministry of science and research offers the ERNST MACH GRANT for all students with a non-European citizenship who plan to come here for fall 2024 or spring 2025 (or both). This grant would open the study abroad opportunity also for students who would normally not have the necessary financial background. With 1,250 Euro a month, this grant allows your students to cover all their cost. The chances to get this grant are quite good if students submit a complete and  thoughtful application.
