113-1 Ministry of Education Outstanding Overseas Chinese Student Scholarship for Graduate Students Application (Now through Friday, November 8, 2024, 12:00 PM)
- Submission Deadline: From now until November 8, 2024 (Friday) at 12:00 PM.
- Submission Location: International Affairs Office, Overseas Student Advising Section.
- Eligible Applicants: Overseas Chinese students in our graduate programs (those who have received subsidies from other government programs are not eligible for double funding).
- Application Qualifications: For new students, academic performance from the previous educational level; for continuing students, an average academic performance ranking within the top 50% of the class or a score of 80 or above, with conduct grades of 80 or above.
- Scholarship Quota: 5 recipients (as announced by the Ministry of Education on October 24, 2024, Document No. 1132504629).
- Scholarship Amount: NT$10,000 per month.
- Funding Period: From August 2024 to January 2025, totaling 6 months.
- Required Documents (Please stack them neatly in order):
1. Application Form for the Outstanding Overseas Chinese Student Scholarship (see Attachment 1).
2. Original proof of enrollment.
3. Copy of residence permit (please attach or photocopy on the same A4 page).
4. Original transcript from the previous semester or previous educational level (including conduct grades).
5. Original proof of academic ranking.
6. Certificate proving no disciplinary actions higher than a warning (please apply for "Disciplinary Record" at the Joint Service Center).
7. Recommendation letter from the supervising professor or academic advisor.
8. Valid proof of participation in lectures related to overseas students organized by the International Affairs Office and passing the tests.
9. Completed Ministry of Education’s “Psychological Health Care Questionnaire for College Students”: https://aimh.epc.ntnu.edu.tw/ and the campus “Mental Health Assessment.”
10. Other supporting documents regarding economic situation, academic performance, extracurricular activities, conduct, and any special achievements beneficial to the applicant.
