【Who Can Apply?】

This award is applicable to international undergraduate students enrolled from the first semester of the academic year 2024 (inclusive) onwards.

  • International undergraduate students with formal student status who have completed at least one academic year at Taipei Tech (5th-year or above not eligible).
  • Not receiving scholarships from Taiwanese government agencies or other Taipei Tech scholarships (except tuition waivers only).
  • Top 50% in department based on last semester GPA, conduct score of 80 or above, no disciplinary actions beyond admonition.
  • Completed health checkup, online mental/physical health survey, and obtained valid Safety Seminar certificate (within the past year).
  • Not engaged in full-time paid employment in Taiwan (R.O.C.).

  • 📌 Online application only. No paper forms accepted (elecronic signature acceptable).
  • 🖥️ System opens: July 17 at 10:00 AM

【Required Documents】

1. Application Form

  • Must include the signature and the recommendation of the advisor.
  • Please download the template, fill it out, and sign by hand.

2. Official English Academic Transcript of all school years to date

  • Please print it out from the red machine (Transcript in English in form of number with ranking) 
  • The transcript can only be printed out within 3 days before the scholarship application begins; otherwise, the scores may be incomplete.

3. Record of disciplinary actions and awards received over the years

4. Department Ranking Certificate to date

  • Please print it out from the red machine (Class ranking certificate in Chinese over the year--department ranking) 
  • The transcript can only be printed out within 3 days before the scholarship application begins; otherwise, the scores may be incomplete.

5. Certificate of participation (Overseas Students Safety and Security Seminar) from the latest seminar

  • If unable to submit the certificate during the application period, it may be submitted to the Office of International Affairs after attending the following sessions for the current year. Failure to submit within the year will result in the revocation of the award and the recovery of any scholarship funds received.)

6. Documents for Special achievements (Optional Supporting Documents--Bonus Items)

  • Including participation in international competitions or conferences, certifications, and other special performances that are preferably related to your department's field of study. These supporting documents must be obtained after your enrollment at this university and cannot be the same documents used when applying for the Presidential Award (i.e., those from high school or earlier).
  • Please download the attached "List of Supporting Documents," merge all supporting documents into a single PDF file, and place the list on the first page. This will help the review committee clearly understand your submitted activities.
  • If any supporting document is not in Chinese or English, please provide a translated version.

*The red machine is located at the 2nd floor of the administration building and the joint service center.

【Scholarship Quota & Award】

🎓 Full Scholarship: Up to 6 students, NT$15,000/month (one semester)

🎓 Half Scholarship: Up to 20 students, NT$8,000/month (one semester)
