2026 Spring Semester Foreign Students Safety & Security Seminar

Dear Students,

The Foreign Students Safety and Security Seminar for the second semester of the 114 academic year (2026 Spring Semester) will be held on October 16, 2025, at the Student Activity Center.

This time, the Foreign Students Safety and Security Seminar will focus mainly on self-defense and what you could do when fraud occurs.

In addition, this seminar will also include themes such as gender equality, Stalking and Harassment Prevention Act, and traffic safety.

Due to the fact that this covers a great part of our daily life and living environment, it is highly recommended that everyone joins the seminar.

For the seminar lecture, we invited Mr. Huang Shun-Ji from the New Taipei City Police Department Sanchong Branch.

Mr. Huang is dedicated to anti-sexual harassment, fraud prevention, drug prevention, and hand-to-hand self-protection combat.

He is also well-known for his humorous speech and eloquent speech style, and his exhibition of hand-to-hand self-protection techniques has earned him the fame of “carrying school principals around Taiwan.”

Light meal boxes will be provided, and those who asked Mr. Huang questions will be given a gift. In addition, those who participated in the seminar will get a chance to experience Mr. Huang’s hand-to-hand self-protection techniques.

You will definitely want to participate in his seminar lecture.

Furthermore, this seminar will be held each semester. The foreign students are also required to at least attend one seminar each (academic) year.

For those who haven't attended any of the seminars last year (2025), please do remember to show up, so as to not cause any problems to your rights and interests.

As for foreign students who are applying or receiving for scholarships, it is also important and necessary that you attend this seminar.
