🌟 Program Overview

The ELTA Program is funded by the K-12 Education Administration of the Ministry of Education and operated by regional teams in Northern, Central, and Southern Taiwan.

We recruit international students currently studying in Taiwan to work as part-time English Language Teaching Assistants (ELTAs). ELTAs support public elementary and junior high schools in creating a more immersive English-speaking environment, giving students more opportunities to practice English and improve their listening and speaking skills. 🗣️📚

Since the program launched in 2021, more than 1,000 international students have joined ELTA across Taiwan — and the number continues to grow! 🎉

🧑‍🏫 What Do ELTAs Do?

As an ELTA, you will work in public elementary and junior high schools alongside local teachers, with support from experienced advisors from English Resource Centers.

In this dynamic role, you may:

• Assist with thematic lessons 🎭
• Help design engaging lesson plans 📚
• Serve as an English conversation partner 🗣️
• Inspire students at English summer and winter camps ⛺
• Coach students for English competitions 🏆
• Lead fun club activities 🎉

💰 Salary & Benefits

• NTD 400 per session 💰
  (40–45 minutes per session)
• Public transportation subsidies 🚆
• Compulsory pre-employment training for all selected ELTAs

The training is designed to help you feel prepared and confident before you start.

📌 Limited Slots:
There are 42 positions available in the Northern Region. Only complete applications will be reviewed, and they will be processed in the order received. Once all 42 slots are filled, no further applications will be reviewed.
